  • So much history here, with great views of the bay, and right in the middle of a very active neighborhood.

  • Good stop on the historic trail. Majority of the markers are dated in the 1700s. We stumbled across Robert Newman's marker which is interesting to see the amount of tribute he receives to this day.

  • Small but beautiful. This historic cemetery is now surrounded by tall buildings but was once a erode open area with a great view of the surrounding water.

  • Great historical spot. Well maintained. Lots of things to see, read, and research. On the small side but very quiet and unassuming.

  • Spooky/fascinating/lonely and windswept. Several graves date back to the 1600s - in New York City, 1725 is rare - in an old-line commercial district that hardly seems to know the burying ground is literally "right around the corner." Typical Boston siting: you shift your gaze slightly and you're transported back centuries. Highly recommended.
